Our drum lessons give students hands-on time behind a full kit with a dedicated instructor, building the coordination and rhythm that make a great drummer. Lessons are available to students of all ages across the Outer Banks.
Students develop hand and foot independence, basic rhythms and fills, and reading skills for drum notation. As they progress, lessons introduce different styles — rock, funk, jazz — and more advanced grooves and fills.
Lessons kick off with rudiments and a warm-up on the pad or kit, move into groove and fill practice, and finish by applying new skills to a song or play-along track.
